What is a spotlight?

A short, honest interview with someone walking this path. A first exam passed against the odds, a career changer’s leap, an analyst’s first offer, a fellow giving back. Not just the wins: the story underneath them.

Who qualifies?

Anyone in the actuarial journey with a story that would make the next student braver. You do not need letters after your name. You need a chapter worth reading.

How does it work?

Nominate yourself or someone else using the form on the spotlights page. If it’s a fit, I send five questions by email. You answer in your own words, we polish it together, and it publishes here with full credit and links to wherever you want people to find you.

Why do this?

Because visibility is a resource too. Ubuntu means the community’s wins belong to all of us, and the next scholarship winner needs to see someone who looks like their situation on this page.
